Acorn Sweet Acorn

Here is a lullaby to round out the day. It is inspired by a piece of artwork by my dear collaborator Kristiana Parn, which makes me feel ready for a sweet slumber, and a chance to dream under an old oak tree. Thanks to my friends and musical inspirations Dan and Claudia Zanes for singing this song with me.
LYRICS
Acorn sweet acorn sweet acorn i see
Swaying on a branch of the old oak tree
Acorn sweet acorn, sweet acorn will sway
And rock us so gently, from night until day
Our sweetest slumber, dreaming free
Our sweetest slumber, under the old oak tree
Acorn sweet acorn, sweet acorn we’ll try
To cherish each moment as time passes by
Acorn sweet acorn, sweet acorn it’s time
To turn notes to melody and words into rhyme
For our sweetest slumber, for yours and for mine
