This song celebrates the belief that everything around us is magical, while also being oh-so common. We wake up and hear a bird song; in the evening stars appear in the sky. Nothing is ordinary, yet everything is ordinary. When I embrace this feeling, I notice more around me. I appreciate the mighty and the mundane. And I remember that my greatest joy is in hearing everyone’s stories, large and small. Everyone has a story to share. Find yours and sing it loud.

LYRICS

Every morning when the robin sings a brand new tune

I sit and wonder what the day will bring, for me and for you

In the evening when the stars appear in a sea of blue

A feeling keeps on running through my head, could it be true?

Oh, nothing is ordinary, everything is ordinary, nothing is ordinary

Nothing is ordinary, everything’s extraordinary, nothing is ordinary

Find your story and sing

When we see a shooting star go by in the blink of an eye

All our memories can reappear in a lullaby

All the things we’ve ever known were true will grow and will change

Like all the moments that we rearrange, like memories do

Oh, nothing is ordinary, everything is ordinary, nothing is ordinary

Nothing is ordinary, everything’s extraordinary, nothing is ordinary

Find your story and sing

In your deepest dreams… (find your story and sing)

When you’re wandering…

In the early morning…

Under a moonlit sky…

When you’re all alone…

On a crowded street…

While you’re slumbering…

WIth your family…

Find your story and sing
